8 Days a Week is a family-owned, privately operated business based in Dundas, Ontario. Since 1994, we’ve proudly served the Golden Horseshoe and surrounding areas, delivering professional irrigation services for residential, commercial, and sportsfield clients.

The Beginning…
8 Days a Week was founded in 1994 by lifelong friends Tom Blok and Roger Stewart. At the time, the irrigation industry was just beginning to grow in southern Ontario. Tom and Roger purchased a U.S.-based irrigation design software franchise called “8 Days a Week,” and the name has been part of our story ever since.
Despite what some may assume, the name doesn’t come from the famous Beatles song. It’s actually based on a residential watering schedule—there are seven days in a week, but to maintain an “every other day” cycle, a property would effectively need to water on an eighth day to complete the rotation.
Today, 8 Days a Week remains a leader in Ontario’s irrigation industry. Our company is built on strong people, loyal customers, and the core values of family and integrity.
2nd Generation…
In 2018, the company underwent its first ownership transition as Tom and Roger passed the business to the next generation. Now, Matt Boschman proudly leads as the sole owner, bringing a true passion for sales, customer service, and employee development. With over fifteen years of construction and management experience, Matt remains dedicated to water conservation, efficiency, and sustainable practices. His “old-school” approach to customer service—where the customer is always right—continues to guide the company’s values.
